Posting Guidelines:
The UMass Law Review invites all students, on law review and otherwise, to submit their own thoughts and summations on recent Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) decisions.
Briefs should be approximately 700-1200 words in length, and should describe, succinctly and at a minimum, the facts of the case, the legal problem the court is looking to resolve, the precedent the court is relying on to guide their decision, and the ultimate manner in which the court arrives at their conclusion.
Once submitted, briefs will be reviewed by members of the law review editorial board and posted upon approval.
