The University of Massachusetts seeks to select a staff of hardworking, determined individuals with strong legal research and writing skills.
Each year, the Law Review selects approximately 25 Associate Editors from the rising 2L (full-time) and 3L (part-time) students. Students can either receive an offer to join the Law Review through their cumulative GPA or the Write-On Competition.
The Write-On Competition is held each June and allows students the opportunity to demonstrate their writing and citation skills. Students must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 and be in good academic standing according to the University of Massachusetts School of Law Handbook. The competition consists of three parts:
- Text and Citation Exercise
- Case Note Exercise
- Short Essay explaining why you want to be on Law Review.
